Overpriced items in general

Overpriced items in general. I was about to buy a Lenovo P11 for 599 nzd. Out of my curiosity I checked the lenovo price in the US and it only cost 223 usd. I am willing to pay a 100 nzd more but not almost double. Usd to nzd= 1.33

i was bullied for three years by a…

i was bullied for three years by a Indian salesperson PP at the defunct BNB/ NL store in LH . Along with his Manager JW at Noel Leeming MSC they harassed me and drove me to the point of suicide. On Sunday's they would put through a fake charge account if close to weekly target to get their bonuses committing fraud and then credit it the following week. Other sales people were fired for doing the same thing. They do not have enough stock as well and will put through orders even if their is no stock available. PP would say customers would wait as the opposition would have none either otherwise just credit it. That was fine for him as he didn't lose commission putting it under JW managers card other staff weren't allowed this kindness. Mangers picked favorites a truly toxic environment. JW is biased and a total hypocrite and should have excused himself regards any employment issues.

All round excellent service

Had excellent service from the moment we entered the Northwood store until the whiteware installers left our home. The installer noted an issue with the door of the dishwasher, which we had not seen. A new machine was delivered and installed the same day.

Online ordering but can't supply on estimates dates

Ordered and paid online. Got a eta. Rang couple days after last date. Told item on order from supplier. Can't advise supply date How can they advertise a item and not have it in stock or know when order will be in store for pick up. This is a corrupt way of business you take my money. So have the appliance to supply me.

Purchased Samsung 65 inches TV

Purchased Samsung 65 inches TV, botany branch 03 jan 2021, the first order is Wrong items and deferent model I was lucky I double check my receipt and I saw deferent size and model otherwise i wasting my time while waiting this wrong items! And they never ask me if I want a 3 year warranty for the items they just put the amount included the items amount. And I pay it! I was shock after I pay it So disappointed they never care about customer service all they want is to income and take a money from the customers! I never ever purchase again in Noelleeming store! ????????????

Rude and poor customer service

It is an new year 2021 ,it is third time i took my kenwood mixer back to noel leeming on moorhouse Ave Christchurch, i noticed scratches and signs of worn on the plastic ring that screwed on the glass bowl while the store manager was checking the price for me at the back ,i looked around, There were few customers and business was slow , staff were scattered here and there all stared down at their phones inside store,a female staff behind accoout was standing not far from me so I called out to her:excuse me ,could you please come over having a look the plastic ring I said, she immediately Frowned at me and said in disgust : I don't need to see ,someone is dealing with it! " then she quickly turned away and Stood on the other side of the counter where i can not see her ,i was stunned and feeling hurt.. It's pretty shocking to experience such poor customer service and to a degree,Noel leeming your staff need to be trained properly and not be so rude and lazy -Nothing can excuse such rudeness towards customers!!

“H”at Northlink - best put him in a warehouse role and not one dealing with the public

We purchased a Sony turntable online from NL in November and realised it doesn’t pair with our in-house sound system. My husband bought me a Marley speaker for Xmas and was assured by the staff member that the two were definitely compatible with each other. While we can individually get the items to pair with other items that we own, they will not pair with each other. We spent a frustrating Xmas morning without success. My husband was so upset that the present was not performing we visited Northlink on Boxing Day and he was considering buying the matching Marley turntable. We came across possibly the most unpleasant salesperson I have ever encountered - his name starts with H...
I know he must have had a full-on day but right from the start he was unpleasant and unhelpful and on 2 occasions scoffed at our questions and I would say his manner was both defensive whilst also managing to be aggressive. He also said that the 2 items were definitely Bluetooth compatible but offered no solutions other than us taking each item to separate repairers - we walked out without resolution, feeling deflated and belittled and wishing we had never purchased from you in the first place. Where is the after sales service? This man should not be dealing with the public and certainly not in sales. We will be taking this further but after this experience will probably only buy from Harvey Norman in future.

Prepaid for LG TV on Black Friday with…

Prepaid for LG TV on Black Friday with promised delivery before Christmas. I phoned the store the other day only to be told I should have received a call from the salesman advising delivery will not be before Christmas with no ETA. Disgraceful service. You should all be ashamed but I hope you enjoy your commission ????

Noel Leeming Blenheim. Warranty not worth the paper it's written on.Bought an expensive vacuum cleaner

Bought an expensive vacuum cleaner. One year into the 2 year warranty it started performing poorly. After cleaning all the filters we knew about, we returned it to the Blenheim branch and got charged $40 for cleaning another filter deep inside the machine. It still went no better. No joy from customer services, no reply from the store manager. Would strongly recommend against shopping there in future.

As a woman in her early 60's I left…

As a woman in her early 60's I left both the Nelson and Richmond stores feeling discrimated against 1 because I was a woman and 2 because I have grey hair. I was left feeling angry and abused. I went in to purchase a laptop. I was on both occasions given a hard sell approach and not listened to when I said no to insurance, and software. In the Nelson store I was even told I needed to buy a new cell phone as well!! They treated me like I was stupid because of my age/gender. Not good enough Noel Leeming!! I will never shop in one of your stores again. Your tactics are disgraceful.

My husband was served by the cashier…

My husband was served by the cashier when purchasing a mobile phone. He asked if it was the same spec as my previous mobile and was told yes. Got the phone home and found out it was not compatible with any of my apps. Tried to return it under the Consumer Guarantee but was told I could not. The manager at Pukekohe was rude to me and I said do you speak to you wife like this and he said no but my wife would not come into a store and lie. So purchased another phone elsewhere and will advise no-one to go to Noel Leeming as I have been left out of pocket.

Lacks customer service.

I will never be using Noel Leeming again EVER. I purchased my son a chromebook for school this year and so far they have had it 4 times for repairs. Twice I was told
It was ready for collection only to find it had same issue as what was meant to be repaired. Well they had it for 42 days so far this time and only by me getting annoyed was I told yesterday it can’t be repaired as they don’t know how to fix it and can’t be replaced as discontinued stock. They weren’t sure if they could even refund me.
I finally got a refund just before 5pm but that will take 4 working days to show in my account. If I hadn’t followed up I wouldn’t have got ang responses. Would not recommend them ever.
